Homological Topology

Homological topology uses algebraic structures, like groups and modules, to analyze topological spaces. By associating homology groups to spaces, we can understand their connectivity and identify 'holes' of different dimensions. Tools like chain complexes, singular homology, excision theorem, and Mayer-Vietoris sequence allow computation and application of this theory.
